Heero was raised by a man named Odin Lowe who was allegedly responsible for the assassination of the original Heero Yuy, the pacifist leader of
the colonies, in AC 175. When Odin was killed in AC 188, Heero was taken in by Dr. J, one of the 5 scientists who built the Gundams. On April 7,
AC 195 Heero went to Earth in Wing Gundam. There he met a girl named Relena—who later became obsessed with him—and one of the other
Gundam Pilots, Duo Maxwell. During one point in the series Heero self-destructed and was almost killed. At the end of the series he saved Earth by
single-handedly destroying a piece of a battleship—known as the Libra—while it was falling through the atmosphere. Roughly 2 years later, he once
again saved the world by defeating Dekim Barton and Mariameia Kushrenada when they tried to take over the entire Earth Sphere.
