Free description Kujaku is the almost annoyingly "genki" (cheerful) bishounen that travels with the Six Heavenly Stars: Yasha -Ou, Ashura, Sohma(Souma), Kendappa-Ou, Ryu-Ou, and Karura-Ou. Kujaku likes to kid around with people, mainly Yasha-O and Ashura, tho Yasha-Ou doesn't seem to appreciate this at all. In some ways, this is quite incredible, since he had such a horrid childhood. He always seems to know everything, but no one really listens to him except for Ashura, who seems to adore him. (*chuckles* No idea why....he's just gorgeous and sweet and ....*sighs*) He doesn't exactly wear flashy clothing, but he doesnt need to. he usually wears a white sort of v necked robe thing tied at the waist over a pair of baggy black pants. (it shows quite a bit of his lovely chest *_*) the only other ornamentations he wears is a pair of braclets on his right wrist and a beautiful necklace type thing. Even without elaborate costuming, Kujaku is quite striking. Not suprisingly, his name means "Peacock". (it just suits him so well, dont you think?) Kujaku has a strange parentage. He carries within him the bloodlines of the Hoshimi, a group of seers that can read constillations and see glimpses of the future; his father was the last Tentai (emperor of Heaven) before the Taishakuten (Big sexy evil bish with a third eye) took over. Thanks to the crimes of his parents he is a mazoku or demon (they call them Daten), and his lovely black wings and violet eyes are an outward sign to others of this fallen state. (tho he doesn't often have his wings visible, i've acutally never seen them in the anime T_T) Poor, beautiful Kujaku was an unwanted child. (who in their right minds would NOT want Kujaku!?!) His being born is the reason for the "curse" upon the Ashura clan (i dont remember exactly why), and this could possibly explain why he feels the need to watch over the last survior of the Ashura line, whom he affectionately calls a puppy. (she hates that^^) While not readily apparent, part of his powers lie in seeing the future. Kujaku can also manipulate magic and fight rather well, tho he tends to not do either unless forced. (Like when the Ice golems were attacking Ashura after Yasha had been kidnapped by that demon Queen.) Also,Kujaku is said to have given the Yamato sword (which Yasha-Ou carries) to the Yasha clan centuries ago, as well as giving the Ashura clan it's counterpart, the holy blade Shurato. (Shurato is Ashura's sword, and has been carried by the defenders of the Tenkai for generations.)
