Free description

Ok. Lemme get one point straight. Raven is totally cool. I luv everything about him, from his hair (which is really cool unlike what Van-fans would think) down to his boots (there's a 'close-up' on them in Episode 12.).And his organoid is so cool.. ^_^ And unlike what the Van-fans would think, Raven is not totally bad to the bone. Hardly anyone is, anyway.Raven is only evil because of Prozen. So that makes him a typical bishie!!! Tragic past,parents killed and raised by some ol' minister who's 10 times more evil than Raven himself.

Lowdown: Raven's parents were killed by Ambient, an organoid. Ok, so it belongs to Hiltz, whom Raven seems to work with. But I bet you if Raven could remember his past, he wouldn't be so keen on being allies with Hiltz. Anyway, it was lucky Raven wasn't there when the incident happened, otherwise Raven wouldn't be here now (duh).

Anyway, seems that after Raven saw Ambient and his dead parents, Ambient knocked him into a wall or something. When he woke up, Van's father, Mr Dan Freheit, had him safe. Van's father told Raven that he would try and adopt him. (Hmm...wonder whether Raven and Van could ever be best buddies that way.) Raven by that time could not remember anything. Then Mr Freheit got himself blown up trying to snatch Shadow from Prozen.(I'm sure Raven didn't like that.)

After that, Prozen came and decided to bring Raven back with him. Seems that Raven tried to pull a gun on him. Only the safety catch was on.(so sad...)Prozen was amused and took Raven back with him (it was he who named him after his hair - it used to be very,very,very long and gloriously black.) and trained him to be a tough zoid pilot. At the end of his training, Prozen said that if Raven could tame Shadow,Shadow would be his. Raven stared the organoid down (and this is weirdest method of taming an organoid) until it backed off. And Shadow was his, along with the Sabre Fang.

Anyway, the story goes pretty smooth-Raven winning every confrontation with Van-till Van finally manages to defeat the Sabre Fang (oh nooo...). Raven got the GenoSaurer after that (Van should've just let the Sabre Fang go-fighting it is way easier than fighting the Genosaurer).And-I don't know why the good guys always win-at the end of Chaotic Century Van finally defeated the GenoSaurer. But Raven's got a comeback ready...

In Guardian Force, Raven looks as though he's in a trance. Maybe the shock of failure and defeat? Well anyway,he returned to his old, very lovable self when he met Van again. Then Shadow somehow revived another GenoSaurer and Raven claimed ownership. He fought with Van only a few times after that (a real pity). Later, the GenoSaurer evolved into the GenoBreaker. Sort of a cocoon thingy wrapped around it. Raven actually got arrested during the GenoBreaker's 'development phase'. (I was biting my fingernails off).But he managed to escape (^_^) when he was being escorted to another army base. (Something about kicking the controls of the zoid he was in till it crashed.)

And then the GenoBreaker-under Shadow's command-just flew to Raven. (I swear, that organois is dead loyal.)Anyway, skipping to the end of GF, Shadow gets turned to stone by Hiltz's gun. Raven actually cried...(wahhh..)Yeah,but (are organoids immortal?) Shadow eventaully was 'reborn' in a pod in the Dark Kaiser's cave. (The Dark Kaiser is Prozen, by the way.)
Raven goes there with Ryss (a zoidian who has a crush on him-she's got good taste) but Shadow attacks Raven real bad. Raven gets real angry when Prozen tells him that Shadow is under his control now. Raven literally flies at Prozen only to get sent flying by an electrical force field generated by Prozen. Then he blacks out.(no.....) Anyway, Shadow remembers Raven later, and he doesn't listen to Prozen any longer. Yeah, and skipping to the end, Raven actually (gasps) teams up with Van to destroy Hiltz's Death Stinger!

So he did turn good...hmm...that is so sweet...^_^
